If you've never been to Nashville, you absolutely must go! I may be biased, however Nashville is ah-maz-ing! There are so many good places to eat, shop and entertain. I promise it will not disappoint--scouts honor!

My beautiful and very intelligent nephew Lincoln. He knows how to play baseball, basketball, and golf and he is only 29 months old! He is actualy very good at baseball, he can hit the ball if you throw it to him, not just t-ball!

I know it has been well over 3 months since we have posted last, but I have good reasoning I promise! I have ben in school all year long and it is not easy taking 19 hours, having a new house, working at the Medical Center 240 hours at the emergency room and working at the clinic 30 hours a week. I am in overload here! The good news is I graduate (for the second time) in December, yay! Jeff is doing well, he is still teaching at the training squadron and might be deploying again before the end of the year. I am surprised to see everyone is pregnant this year (except us of course). I have a cousin (Chelsea) who just had a baby girl Lilly, Jay and Leisha who is expecting in September with Luke, Ryan and Bonny who is expecting in October with Evelyn, Will and Leslie expecting a boy (James) in December, Brian and Trish expecting a girl (Miller) in November, Dave and Emily expecting a girl also in November (Nora) and Kris and Michelle due in January with a girl (nameless so far) and Chris and Vanessa due in September with a boy (Lawson). I am probably forgeting someone but cannot believe I remember all of these! Here are some much needed pictures from our lives lately.

Last weekend we went to Shenanigan's (our favorite little hang out) for some good beer, good music and crappy darts. The man! Best friends fishy face (you never know what happens when there is a beer challenge going on at Shenanigan's--team Courthouse won though!) PS that's the name of the road we all live on.

We have completely moved into our new house! Yay!! It seems it took so long for the day to come but when it did we were moving so fast from the final walk through to the closing to getting all of our stuff in before the weather ruined it! Here are some pictures of our new house the Jeff's dad took the day after we moved in.

I know it's been a long time since I posted anything but since my last post in early January I started back in school and clinicals are a killer! I come home and smell like a nursing home (In case you don't know what that smells like, it's a combination of urine and feces)...pleasant right? On top of all that fun I have come down with pneumonia! Of course that means I cannot go to school or work because I might spread it around. My fever is starting to go down though, so hopefully I get over it soon.

On the upside, our house is almost fully complete! All we lack now is the fense and the final walk through. I cannot wait to move in! We close on the 20t of March and Jeff's parents are coming down for the closing and to help us move which is great because in Nashville, they have their own real estate business therefor nowing what should an shouldn't happen. Then my sister and brother-in-law are coming down from the 27th-30th of March. She is even making us lasagna! Mmmm, it is the best in the word with a true sicilian recipe.

Cosmo is acting really weird about the move though. He doesn't quite understand all the boxes around the house and why all the things he is used to playing with are now "missing". Strange right????

New Year's Eve! I have a feeling 2008 is going to be a great year! Jeff and I will have moved in our new house and I will finish my 2nd degree. We celebrated the new year at my Aunt Barbara's house. All my cousins (with a few exceptions) were there. I love having my entire family together. And my sweet little Jessie is getting so big, already a sophomore in college at WKU. I am oh so proud of her! My Uncle Bob taught all his nieces how to Texas two step, a little strange for me being left handed and all I want to do everything opposite. And then we taught my Uncle George the soulja boy dance, very funny!!

Chris's birthday is New Year's Eve, so before the festivities started we celebrated Chris's birthday at The Sportsman's Lodge and then back to the house for a Coldstone ice cream cake, yummy! Here i Lincoln going crazy over "bubbles" that is what he calls balloons. He also loves chicken and french fries. Brian was telling us that he woke up about 3am the other day and screamed out "Chichen and french fries". I think that was a good dream! It is so funny to see him translate words.

Christmas morning!! Yay, I still love waking up at the crack of dawn and running out to see what Santa brought. Here are some pictures of Christmas morning, both at my mom's house and at the Campbell house. Notice Lincoln is still asking where Santa is! And the gift everyone has been waiting to see, my necklace!! Isn't is beautiful? I absolutely love it! My sister and Aaron are even bigger UT fans than I am so mom found these UT Santa hats and shirts. How cute. Also, a picture of mom's gigantic Christmas tree, I think it is like 9' tall or something!

On Christmas Eve we always go to Brian and Trish's house to have Christmas dinner and exchange gifts between the Campbell bunch and Trish's family, the Simpkins. This was Lincoln's 2nd Christmas but his 1st one where he actually understood what was going on. After Santa left Lincoln kept asking "Where'd he go?" It was so cute! Here is also a picture of the "children" in the family...me, Jeff, Jenny, Beth, Kevin, Brian, Trish and Lincoln.

Before our annual trip to TN for Christmas we enjoyed a night with Jennifer and exchanged gifts. Our trip only took us a little over 4 hours this time which is really good because getting through Atlanta and Mt. Eagle generally takes a while. Once we finally made it on the 22nd, we met up with Chris O and his girlfriend Jeannie (hope I spelled that correct). Chris moved to Seattle after graduating from art school at SCAD. Jeff and Chris have been friends since they were like 10 years old and Kevin and Brandon (both Jeff and Chris' little brothers) naturally became friends. We enjoyed a night out at Tin Roof 2 in Franklin. You probably can't tell in the picture of all the boys that Kevin is kneeling down to fit in the picture. Kevin and Brandon are both almost 6'5! I feel like a midget around the two of them!

I also got in some much overdue dad-in-law/daughter-in-law bonding with Gary. When I learned he got a lathe for his birthday I got excited. I have always been drawn more toward "men's work" than housework (for lack of better terms). Gary and I made an ink pen out of a piece of maple wood. It will be a memory and a pen I will always treasure. It was so funny because Gary and I were out in the garage woodworking and Jeff and his mom Chris were inside making baked ziti...did I ver mention that Jeff is an excellent chef! :)

Jeff and I went to the Satterfield and Dempsey Jewelers open house on Saturday night. My best friend Jennifer is the assistant manager there so we were happy when we got the invitation, not to mention, they had a 50% off discount during the open house! Jeff ot me this gorgeous necklace for practically nothing! Once I get it (I have to wait until Christmas) I will post a picture of it.

Jeff and I went to Atlanta for a private unveiling of the new Saturn Astra. We were invited with about 20 other Georgians for the driving experience. We got to drive 3 Astras and 3 of their competitors. The 3 Astras we drove were a base model sedan, loaded sedan and a loaded stick shift coupe. We also drove a Honda Civic (which drove the worse), a VW Rabbit and a Mazda 3.

It was a very nice setup with a dinner and everything. My favorite part, of course, was that we drove on a private track and we could drive the cars any way we wanted! We did drive the crap out of them...burning rubber and testing the brakes and all. It felt like we were race car drivers. The only bad part of the whole evening was the drive back to Warner Robins that night to get up early and go to work...yuck!

So December 8th was my step-dad's birthday and he passed away on Feb 10, 2005. I am still pretty upset, I guess you never really get over the death of a loved one...especially when they a re a parent to you. Berley was the greatest man that ever lived. He took my brother and I in when we were young and raised us as his own. I remember him teaching me how to drive, comforting me when the house burned to the ground, taking me to breakfast to TeeGee's (the most God awful restaurant in LaVergne but we went because he liked to show u off to all his friends), taking pictures with me for my proms, buying me my first car and being there at my wedding even though he was so ill. I will always treasure these memories I have with my "Berley bean".

Jeff and I met brother in Atlanta for a NAGA competition (mixed martial arts). It was his first competition and he did really well. I had no idea what was going on but I was cheering him on and quickly caught on to the lingo. I was yelling "Do your triangle" even though I had no idea what that meant! I did realize, a little to late, that sitting on the sidelines can be dangerous...while waiting for brother's match to start I was practically sitting on the mat while 2 others were fighting and before I knew it one guy was getting slammed right on me! It hurt and I was a little bruised but I survived. Here are some pictures of my not-so-baby brother winning his match. Don't mention it to him though, he later learned that he lost the match because they ran over in time. He was not so happy, but I was so proud of him!

I know, I know...I haven't posted anything new in 5 months. We have really been busy, I swear! I graduated from college while Jeff was deployed but am going back in January. Jeff came home in October from his 4th deployment. He also re-enlisted in the Air Force for another 6 years, military life seems to agree with us just fine. Jen moved out in August and got an apartment about 1 mile away form us. She is really doing well working full time and going to school. I am so proud of her decision to leave a terrible marriage. We also started building our new house just 3 doors down form Kris and Michelle (our good friends). Thanksgiving was wonderful, we went back to TN to have two wonderful dinners with my family and Jeff's family. Lincoln is growing so much, he definitely looks like a Campbell boy! For Christmas we are going to TN for a little over a week which will be nice. We seem to be so rushed when we go home to visit. Here are some much needed pictures on us in the last 5 months. I will try to keep everyone updated on us and the house building process more often than twice a year!
